Right now decisions are being made in DC that will impact all of our lives – where our representatives land on the Build Back Better plan, voting rights, health care, climate change, and immigrant rights will fundamentally shift the trajectory of this nation, either towards a more just democracy for all or towards an increasing oligarchy for the few.

This is an emergency call to Washington DC for all of us who are opposed to Congress cutting life-saving, planet-saving, democracy-saving legislation and compromising on the backs of poor people, immigrants, people of color and the environment.

WE NEED A MORAL WITNESS IN WASHINGTON DC ON OCT. 27th!

We the people - poor people, low-wage workers, essential workers, people of faith, and moral advocates - are tired of being pawns in a political game that hurts us while greedy and corrupt corporations enrich themselves off our poverty.

Following the rally we will join CASA and CDP for their March and Rally on Congress!

We can’t afford to compromise. We can’t afford half of a democracy. We need to stop asking “How much does a bold Build Back Better agenda cost?” and instead ask, “How much does it cost not to Build Back Better?”

This moment is not about left versus right but about right versus wrong. The moral fiber of our nation hangs in the balance. We need a moral witness in Washington DC to dispel the lies of scarcity and put a face on the real pain and cost of not taking action.

Our lives and our democracy are on the line: voting rights, health care, the environment, Medicaid expansion, the child tax credit, immigrant protections, early childhood education/pre-K, affordable housing, family leave, and more.

Join us in Washington DC to be a moral witness to the nation we can become if we stand together, fight together, pray together, march together and go Forward Together, Not One Step Back!

Poor people are already feeling the bulk of ecological devastation, and time is running up on our ability to change course on climate change. Replacing all lead pipes and updating our water infrastructure to provide clean water to our communities. Establishing a Civilian Climate Corps that will provide good jobs to protect and restore our environment. Repealing the provision that authorized Resolution Copper to mine Oak Flats, sacred land to the Apache Stronghold and other indigenous peoples.
