We invite you to join Brooklyn For Peace in support of the 2017 Pathmakers to Peace awards! Since 2013, we have honored organizations and individuals who have played a leadership role in forging new pathways. Both the name, Pathmakers to Peace, and the logo for these awards were chosen to emphasize the many different pathways to peace.
We’re very pleased this year to be honoring Linda Sarsour, Leslie Cagan and UPROSE. Previous honorees include Dr. Ahmed Jaber, Rabbi Ellen Lippmann, Lynn Nottage, Nancy Romer, FUREE (Families United for Racial and Economic Equality), Medea Benjamin, Michael Ratner, Noam Chomsky, Amy Goodman, Moustafa Bayoumi, Frances Fox Piven, Opal Tometi, and the Granny Peace Brigade.
The Pathmakers to Peace Reception + Gala Dinner will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 6 pm at the historic Plymouth Church in Brooklyn Heights.
We invite you to be a part of the event by taking an ad in the program, becoming an event sponsor, and attending the reception and gala dinner.
